Terms of Service

The basics of using Edyt, in plain language.

Last updated: June 29, 2026

The short version

By downloading or using Edyt, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable. If anything is unclear, just ask.

Using Edyt

Edyt is a macOS app that helps you work with text using AI. You can use it for personal or work projects. Please don't use it to break the law, harm others, or try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for what happens under it. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access.

Plans and payments

Some features need a paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from your account.

If something goes wrong with a charge, let us know and we’ll make it right.

AI output

Edyt uses AI to generate and transform text. AI can make mistakes, so please review anything important before you rely on it. You're responsible for how you use the output.

Your content

The text you process stays yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't store it after processing.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Edyt running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update the app, our features, or these terms over time. If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Liability

Edyt is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or unexpected damages that come from using the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Edyt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
