Select a sentence or two
Anything you'd like to say another way.

Press the shortcut
Ctrl+Shift+L, or open the toolbar and press L.

Pick the one you like
Insert it or copy it. Ask for more versions, up to fifteen.
Make it yours.
Alternatives panel
Opens when you run Alternatives.
- Versions
- Three to start. Show another adds one more each time, up to fifteen.
- Insert or copy
- Use the arrow keys to pick one and press Enter to put it in place.
Alternatives settings
Open Toolbar in Edyt and click the gear next to Alternatives.
- Prompt
- Custom runs the built-in instruction. Pick one of your prompts or a Library prompt to run that instead.
- Instruction
- Edit the text to change the kind of versions you get. Bold and lists work too.
- Shortcut
- Ctrl+Shift+L by default. Click the pencil and press the keys you want.
- Reset to default
- Brings back the built-in instruction and shortcut in one click.
Toolbar page
Open Edyt and pick Toolbar in the sidebar.
- Show or hide
- Switch Alternatives off to take it off the toolbar. Its shortcut keeps working.
- Order
- Drag the buttons under Toolbar order to rearrange them. The arrow puts them back.
